Terms of Use
The terms on which we make this website available.
These terms govern your use of riseandroot.in, operated by Rise & Root, a digital marketing studio based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please stop using it.
This is a website for a marketing studio. There are no accounts to create, nothing to buy, and nothing to download. So these terms are short, and cover only what actually applies here.
1. What this site is
An online brochure. It describes who we are, what we do, and how to reach us. Everything here is for general information.
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Any work we do for you would be governed by a separate written agreement, not by these terms.
2. Our content
The design, text, layout, graphics, logos and code on this site belong to Rise & Root or are used with permission. The Rise & Root name and logo are our marks.
You may read the site, share links to it, and quote short extracts with attribution — that is all normal and welcome. You may not republish substantial parts of it as your own, copy the design or code for another site, or use our name or logo to suggest an endorsement or association that does not exist.
Two components are third-party works used under their own licences: the Poppins typeface, served from this site under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, and the icon artwork, which is drawn from the Lucide icon set and embedded in the page under the ISC licence. Those licences govern those components, not these terms.
3. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Submit anything unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Send automated or bulk submissions through the enquiry form, or try to defeat its spam protections.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any connected system.
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content from the site.
- Introduce malware, or otherwise interfere with the site's operation for other people.
4. Enquiries you send us
Please give us accurate information and only send someone else's details if you are entitled to.
Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship or oblige us to take on your work. Treat anything you send through the form as ordinary business correspondence rather than a confidential disclosure — if you need to share something sensitive, tell us and we will arrange a proper channel first.
How we handle what you send is set out in our Privacy Policy.
5. No professional advice
The content here — including anything we write about strategy, budgets, timelines or results — is general commentary, not advice for your specific situation. It is not a substitute for professional marketing, legal, financial or tax advice, and you should not act on it without taking advice suited to your circumstances.
Where we describe outcomes achieved for other clients, those are illustrations of past work. Marketing results depend on market, budget, product and execution. We do not promise you will get similar results.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.
7. Links to other sites
This site links to our profiles on Instagram and Facebook. Those platforms are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent Indian law permits: the site is provided “as is”; we exclude implied warranties about it; and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business or goodwill, or loss arising from your reliance on general information published here.
These limits apply to your use of this website. Liability for work we do for you under a signed agreement is dealt with in that agreement.
9. Engaging us for work
If you decide to work with us, we will agree scope, fees, timelines, ownership of deliverables and confidentiality in a separate written contract. Where that contract conflicts with these terms, the contract prevails for that engagement.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we handle it. It forms part of these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site.
